Although no regulations are currently in place, different types of environmental claims are possible for cosmetic products:
SELF-DECLARED CLAIMS
Claim certain characteristics of your cosmetic product.
These claims must be precise and not global.

ECO-PROFILE
Display the environmental impact of a cosmetic product using a rating system common to all beauty manufacturers, after analyzing its life cycle, which allows objective comparisons between products performing the same function.

ECO-LABEL
Affix an official logo recognized in all member countries of the European Union that is based on the evaluation of different criteria taking into account the life cycle analysis of the product but also the efficiency of use, and that requires certification by a third party.
